“She didn’t used to speak!”
A recent conversation made me so happy.
I was interviewing pupils about Philosophy for Children. One of them said: I really like it! It's so helpful. It makes me a confident speaker. I used to be shy!
The teachers gave me a bit more context, telling me: She didn’t used to speak. P4C has made such a difference to her confidence. She’s deputy head girl now and she’ll speak to visitors! She’ll do anything now. She would never have done that before.
Shouldn’t every school do P4C?
